Volunteer Day: PAWS Animal Shelter with Buddy

I met a guy today.. no.. actually, I met 2 weeks ago. He's an old, obese man who was abandoned by his family. Yep, abandoned just because he's old. After 2 weeks.. today, I decided to just take him out. No.. The Asshole said.. why not take him out because this beast haven't have his walks yet today and he of all the dogs need then the most.. because he's fat.

Meet Buddy..
So, okay.. I took him out.. a lil struggle there because he refuse to get out of the shelter at first. That, until I gave him some treats. So, off we go.. for a lazy jog.. I found that, he would be my best lazy jog buddy.. because we're like, all fat and lazy to run type. It occurred to us, we should start this Buddy jog from now on. Who knows, both of us will soon reach our ideal weight? Right?

Buddy is an old Golden Retriever. A fluffy and cute beast. Always smiling.. well, he was somewhat depress when I first saw him.. but he's okay now. He's like the cheese and I'm like his bun. Hahaha! We basically manage to tolerate our old and fat bum jog together. No one else can do that..

I forgot to find out how old exactly is Buddy. I think I'd do that tomorrow.

Buddy is up for adoption.. please consider a senior dog. He's cool.. actually, one of the coolest chill dog I have ever met.

Volunteering Day: PAWS Animal Shelter with Some Pups

If you happened to stop by, dont forget to bring some puppy or kitten milk. Some of the kids there need them. I don't think the shelter has any.. so far, I only see food and water.

Note: DIY Cleaning Solution

What you need.. vinegar, Hydrogen Peroxide, Baking Powder & your favourite essential oil.

To Remove The Urine:
  • Combine the water and vinegar solution mixed in a bowl
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup vinegar

To Neutralize and Deodorize:
  • 1/4 to 1/2 cup baking soda

To Lift Any Remaining Set-in Stain:
  • 1/4 to 1/2 cup household strength (3%) hydrogen peroxide

Remove Urine, Neutralize, Deodorize and Removing the Stain:
  1. Blot up as much of the urine as possible by using the paper towels.
  2. Mix together the water and vinegar and pour or spray it on the spot. You really want to work it down into the carpet so this is not a time to be stingy.
  3. Work the mixture into the carpet with your fingers (or a scrub brush or toothbrush), but be careful not to scrub too hard- heavy scrubbing will damage the carpet fibers.
  4. Blot up all the vinegar and water until it’s as dry as possible. A wet/dry vac or steam cleaner does a good job extracting liquid too.
  5. When the spot is very close to being dry, sprinkle the baking soda on the stain.
  6. With your rubber gloves on, work some of the peroxide into the stain with your fingers. The baking soda and peroxide will be foaming like mad.
  7. Again blot up all the liquid possible with a paper towel or other absorbent material.
  8. Let the spot dry completely.
  9. Vacuum thoroughly to remove any residue.

Homemade Carpet Freshener:
  • 3 cups baking soda
  • 20 drops of your favorite essential oil like lavender, jasmine, or vanilla
  • Shaker jar to disperse
  1. Pour the baking soda in a medium size bowl and break up any clumps with a fork.
  2. Use your favorite essential oil like lavender, jasmine, or vanilla and sprinkle in the baking soda, stirring well to reduce lumps.
  3. Put the mixture in a shaker jar and sprinkle lightly on the carpet. Don't overdo it. Just a light sprinkle is enough.
  4. Let sit on the carpet for 15 minutes or so and vacuum up.

Fri-doom! Fri-yay!

My girl is as beautiful as ever!

Baby Leyna's current weight is 7.4 kg while Korra is 6.2 kg. They grow up too fast. Gosh.. at least, they're happy.

Yesterday is one of those bad Fridays I had. I'm not sure what to feel.. and everything is shocking, pissing off and... rocky. I just hope... karma will get to the person who is causing all this ruckus. That when karma arrives, karma hits that creature extremely hard.

Oh.. but I have a good news. MSAVA has replied me that applications has been approve. Yayyyyy! I'm gonna start studying soon! I'll be a vet tech and when time comes, who knows some good people will offer me a nice scholarship to be a vet. Bwahahahahaha! I'm dreaming like crazy!
