3 weeks ago at the petshop, out of the blue... When I first saw beautiful Karma. I decided to adopt her. She was 6 months old at the time. For the first time in 9 years (since my crazy humping rabbit that I left at my ex's house because we were not in good terms when we broke up. Yea I know, I'm being irresposible.. Please don't remind me that) I had a pet and she's my first Guinea Pig (GP). Now, because... this was not planned, I have no idea or any clue about GPs. The Asshole, was very much against it because;
1. Karma is an expensive breed here. She's a Peruvian.
2. He thinks I'm not ready for a pet.
3. He didn't wanna have anything to do with it if we got them becasue he had no idea how to care for a GP. He want's me to take full responsible.
4. Because he thinks it's troublesome.
But we end up getting her anyway, because I wanted her and that's when hell falls. I was excited but I had no idea, I cannot handheld or touch her for the first 3 days or a week because I was so damn freakin' excited, I ignored this fact. I didn't know everything has to be slow and light because she needed time to get use to the environment. I didn't know she can be extremely stiffy at 6 months. I had no damn idea about anything.

Karma on her first day home. |
She seems to be okay until the third day, when I freaked out because I realize she hasn't been drinking or eating much. By the time, I have decided to get her a sister because I red that she needs cuddle buddy. I put them together. I bought a bigger cage as well. That was wrong! Another stupid mistake!

Karma unhappy her dome is dominated by Fuyu. |
Then on the fourth day, we found her stool became soft. I have no idea that's a sign of diarrhea (because I was stupid.. I know, you don't have to remind me). I mentioned this when I went to the pet shop. That she wasn't drinking or eating much but they said that's normal.
Then came the fifth day, when I came back from grocery after we cleaned the cage, we notice she's not moving much. It was a Sunday. All vets are close. We called the pet shop for help and brought her there. My baby was not moving much, but you can hear her weak squeak when she's scared in the car. The pet shop told us the in-house vet will come tomorrow, she will have to stay the night so that they can try to help her but no guarantee. I cried the whole night blaming myself for being so careless and not caring enough. I called the next morning to check, only to find out Karma has already passed. The in-house vet said that there was nothing wrong with Karma, but she was having a depression/ stress. Hence, her not having appetite which cause diarrhea, followed by dehydration.
Karma was actually complaining...

I miss you.. |
I was so devastated, I couldn't see her.. I requested the pet shop to help me bury her in my stead. I know I killed Karma. It was my fault and I regretted whatever I have done.
