Yes Fuyu. Everest is always Winter.. like you! Haha! But you can't watch the movie, because it's in 3D. I don't have that 3D glasses that's small enough for you. That's just too bad. Heee.... We won ourselves an invitation from Hot FM to watch the Everest movie premier screening yesterday. This movie will be out on September 24, 2015 which falls on the same day as Hari Raya Haji! Wooohoooo!

Now, the movie is about the 1996 Mount Everest Disaster where 8 people were caught in the Mount Everest blizzard and died during summit attempts. It mainly reflects about the 2 mountain guides, Rob Hall from New Zealand who died on the South Summit and Scott Fischer a survivor of the disaster from America. Others includes Doug Hansen (died on the South Summit), Yasuko Nampa (died on the South Col) and Beck Weathers who lost both his hands and nose during the attempts. Not forgetting the sherps Ang Dorje and Lopsang Jangbu as well.
Movie Review
I am a fan of historicals, documentaries and base on true events movies. This one, is a 4 star movie. A must watch movie not only for those who are like me.. but also to those who has fetishes over thrillers. Watching base on true story movies is better than watching fictional horror movies where you just pay money to freak yourselves out .. right? My thoughts.. Haha! At least, you pay for some knowledge. You'll bloody regret not watching.. Watching this movie makes me realize, I am not fit to climb a mountain. Particularly that beasty one! Like seriously... my contacts or eyes will freeze in seconds. I'd be blind in no time..
